IMPORTANT MESSAGE…

Hello Folks…  I hope this message finds you all well?

I received a bit of a disturbing email from Kay this week.  The events of this past week had her down and discouraged.  All her documents were stolen while she was shopping with some of her orphans.  However there is a brighter side.  An article for the United Methodist Church, has been published about BibiKay.

Below is an email that she wrote to some of her supporters and friends.  Please read and follow the links to the articles about Kay.  And when you are done, please post a message to her on her website.

Please pray for Kay and her mission.  She is following God’s will for her and she needs our strength and support in every way we can.

God Bless you all and the Support your provide Kay,

Gail

Hello Friends,

I just read the article about my work. I thought “who is this woman called Bibi Kay” because last Friday in Njombe when I had the orphans with me buying them shoes, I had every piece of identification stolen from my purse besides lots of money. I now have no passport, visa, drivers licenses, credit cards, bank ATM cards, etc. SO, after reading about this woman, I decided to turn this terrible burden over to God. Maybe he will work miracles for me so that I do not have to spend days of time, money and frustration trying to renew all the stolen documents in this 3rd. world country.

Now I feel I can go on because of the strength I read about this woman called Bibi Kay!

  1. Hello Bibi Kay,
Sorry to hear about your trouble, I know words cannot fix the situation but I will try anyway. Great video on you tube and I will be telling my friends and family to watch it as well. Watching the video and reading the article about 6 years of your hard work to get to this place. All the people you have brought together to help in this project and donations to your orphanage equal alot of good things not to be overshadowed by one bad event. I will be going on my second trip to Africa in October to the rural area near Iringa to help with teaching, medical needs and building a youth/community center. I know I would have not gone the first time if I had not heard your talk at Peaceful Grove UMC in Cottage Grove MN. Now I have friends across the globe and many new things to learn about how people live in other places and how that can help me live live smarter here. My children have also started raising money to buy chickens, goats, and a well (big goal I know). So as my trips to Africa have become a bigger part of my life and my house by collecting items to take each trip, I have to think back to were this mania started. Partnership congregation through St. Paul Area Synod (Bega Kwa Bega), joining committee to continue relationship, helping to send other people to Africa, hosting choir members from Iringa choir, then hearing your talk about the conditions you experienced first hand and what you could do then “God Thump” time to see it yourself. So thank you for all your good works and being a leader in helping people were it is needed the most. I’m sure there are many other people you have inspired. We will keep you in our prayers, God bless all your good works,
    Your Friend

    Hi Bibi Kay,
I am so sorry, I have not looked at your web site for a while. I just signed up on “Follow” so I will receive an email notices when there are new postings. Nova and I are very sorry to hear about having all your important documents stolen. That is always a very difficult thing to deal with to say the least, especially so in a 3rd world country. Are you making any progress? Is there anyting anybody can do to help you here in the US. I realize it’s been over a month since it happened.

Thank for all you are doing. It sounds like you are truly making a huge positive impact on the people in that part of the world, and you also are an inspiration to others to be motivated to do some of the same where ever they can.

It’s very good to hear you speak of your faith in God. It is because of Him and our trust in Him that makes all the of this possible. We will be keeping you and your work in our prayers. May God continue to richly bless you every day.

To God Be the Glory, much love George & Nova
