April 2014 Newsletter
The businessmen from Uhekule, who now work and live in cities, pooled their money and bought the orphanage a cow. She is three months pregnant and eats LOTS of grass. It needs to be a special kind of grass, so we will now plant seeds for this SPECIAL cow who only likes to eat SPECIAL grass!
Mekio, our handyman (fundi) and some of our staff have built a shed for this SPECIAL cow. So, all is going well.
We now have sponsors for 10 of our children, so 6 more need sponsors. Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to sponsor an orphan. The money will be used for their education (grades 8 through 11) at a boarding Secondary School. Uhekule Village does not have a Secondary School, so our kids need to travel and board at a village that has continuing education.
The children are thriving and happy. Many thanks to all of you supporting Sunrise Children’s Home.
Peace and love,
